Society
New Hampshire is a very religious colony and wishes to reform and purify the Anglican Church.
New Hampshire's society cares about education and parents wish for their children to learn and read the Bible beginning at a young age. The children also attend schools and colleges. Native American conflicts are not very common in New Hampshire, as Indians and settlers get along quite well. So you can rest at ease! New Hampshire was originally established to become a fishing colony. However, we also have other occupations, such as ship-building. |
Religion
Much of the religious tension that has found its way across the Atlantic Ocean came from disagreements within the Anglican Church, or the Church of England and those who wanted to “purify” the English church became known as Puritans.
New Hampshire was founded by Puritans. The Puritans dominated New England and Colonial New Hampshire. Although many left Europe in order to obtain religious freedom they did not tolerate any other form of religion. The Congregational Church eventually grew out of the Puritan Church and was formally established Colonial New Hampshire. Because we are strictly Puritan you can rest assured that there will not be religious tension between colonists! We all believe the same thing so you will never have anyone questions why you believe what you believe! |
